Ruby Tuesday, Raleigh, North Carolina Restaurant Details

Food:

I just went to this location last night, (Sunday, January 4th 2015)

as soon as we had sat down at the table our "server" told us that due to a seating screw up shes not going to be serving us.
The restaurant dining area in which we sat was empty at this point so it was surprising.
Our new Server (1061 Shahde) was very polite and charming but we never seen her, she didn't bring us our drinks and i had to approach the host to ask again for them.(it was quite embarrassing)
the table that had now joined us in the dining area, at the booth behind us, were also having the same issues.my meal had it been hot would've been perfect, it taste good just not hot. but i couldn't say anything because our server was still missing in action.
then desert time came and she mentioned pumpkin spice cheese cake (my mothers favorite, as she was babysitting i asked for it to go)
again every time we ordered anything or even a new glass we were left waiting for at least 15-20 minutes.we arrived at 6 and it was nearing 8pm... all we wanted was a nice meal and drinks, instead we were forgotten, or just plain ignored. I plan on complaining to cooperate as this is the 2nd time now. i know its only a Ruby Tuesdays but after the bill totaling $70 i don't care, money is money.

Food:

Food was great and service was good. Best of all, it offers an attractive and comfortable setting conducive to relaxation and conversation. Have never had a bad experience there and headed there again tonight!

8/18/13 6:30 pm. Restaurant almost empty. After approx 8 minutes still had not seen a server. Shift mgr came over, took my drink order & ignored the rest of my family...left. Horrible service. Apathetic staff.

The food was delicious!!! The service was poor, and there were only a few customers in there. Had to ask several times for drink refills. The waitress forgot a couple of times about my drink refill, so when we got ready to go (after I finished my meal with no drink) I asked for a drink to go and was given a small cup of drink. To top it off, the delicious biscuits came after we had completed our meal. It will be a while before we visit there again. Other than the delicious food, I will have to say that the greeter was the best part of our dining experience.

To start off, I LOVE Ruby Tuesdays (or Ruby Tubys as we call it in my house). I visited the New Bern one for the first time recently with my boyfriend and was very happy. Food came quick and tasted great. Our waiter was very nice and helpful. Although this is not the closest location to me, I will GLADLY come back whenever I'm in this part of Raleigh.
