We just held my mother's 90th birthday party on May 24th, a surprise Hawaiian luau. After having tried four different Hawaiian style restaurants, we chose Rumbi because the food was amazing. We had it catered for 50 people - choosing luau pork, blackened chicken, veggies, rice, and Aloha salad. It was an unbelievable hit with everyone. Rick, the manager, delivered the food to our venue. He was prompt, set everything up perfectly, and the food was hot and ready for our guests when we served an hour later. People raved about the food and wanted seconds! Everything was absolutely delicious. Until I come up with another occasion to have another luau, my husband and I plan to make Rumbi's a regular stop! We recommend Rumbi's to ANYONE looking for delicious food at a reasonable price.

I liked Rumbi in the past because I follow a vegan diet. I order their rice bowls. This time I had a coupon, buy one get one free. I was solo so I ate a meal there and got one to go. I ordered a tofu rice bowl. It was a lot of food: 80% rice 20% tofu and veggies. Bali Island sauce was measured and very little. The second meal was also 80/20 but the 20 was 95% zucchini, a few shreds of carrot and about 6 tiny florets of broccoli. With these two meals my impression of Rumbi really hit the skids. Time to put some value back into those meals.

We love this place. The food is fresh and very tasty. A half order for me was more than enough - and I can eat a lot. The environment is casual and comfortable with a great outdoor seating area. You order at the counter and they bring your food to you. I felt the prices for lunch were on the high end but worth it occasionally.
