"Always a hit with the expense-account crowd", this "steadfast" chain "pampers" patrons with "thick", "buttery" steaks and "top-notch" service in "clubby" surroundings; it all adds up to a "quality" experience, though one with "few surprises, positive or negative."

We have been disappointed by the experience in this particular Ruth's Chris Steak House. Let me say why.

- After arriving we have been waiting for 45 minutes without been asked for anything (order, drink or others). We have been forced to go to the reception to ask if they were willing to serve us to get their attention.
- The first wine we order was sold out (it can append) and the second one was from another year than the one printed on the wine list…
Starter were not served at the same time (warm one first).
- Main course, meat (16oz ribeyes) was ok but not great.
- The dessert (a chocolate cake) was good but unfortunately one of them was not unfroze correctly and center was still very hard.

Overall, for the price we paid (more than 400 $), the service was fare behind our expectation and there is many place where you get better value for your money…

Overall we had a very good experience here. There were 4 of us. We had 1 appetizer, 2 petite fillets, 1 fillet, 1 ribeye, 2 sides, 3 deserts and 2 glasses of wine. The total bill excluding tip was $330. The steaks were all excellent. The fillets were melt in your mouth good. The ribeye did have a little extra chunk of fat right in the middle, but it was done perfectly and had a great flavor. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. The food was slow to come out but we didn't mind because we were sitting outside enjoying the Riverwalk. This restaurant is right on the Riverwalk so they do get customers in shorts and t-shirts just like all the other restaurants on the Riverwalk- what do you expect

My wife and I had reservations for our anniversary. The hostess didn't go out of her way to welcome us or acknowledge our special occasion. The best part of the experience was the waitress. Very knowledge and she was very welcoming. She said she would take care of us on our special occasion.

The food was just ok. My steak was under cooked and had to be sent back. The creamy spinach was way to creamy. The dessert was the best thing. They even wrote congratulations on the plate in chocolate. It was a pecan crusted cheese cake. That was amazing. I was expecting a more upscale atmosphere but there were many people dressed in shorts and T-shirts with baseball hats on. Not my definition of a top steak house. I won't be back since there are many better options.

This review is just for this location. I've had better experiences and steak at other locations, but this time it just wasn't what I expected. This location was nice and updated, staff was courteous. Took my wife for our anniversary and she couldn't even eat her meal. The steak was greasy and full of fat and gristle and had no flavor. The waiter could have been a little more courteous when we told him that she couldn't eat it and didn't like it but the manager was very helpful and apologetic. Our meal, sides, and cocktails were all on the house which was nice but our night had already been ruined. I've been going to Ruth's Chris for over 20 years and never had a bad experience until now. I will probably go back and give them another chance.

We had a very fine meal.My wife had a delicious steak like never before.
It is true prices are very high. example petite steak $43 just the steak
salad 14,dessert around 14 too where other places charge 2 for a soda here is double
so expect double of a regular price restaurant. 3 meals,drinks and desserts around $200
we were lucky to get very good service,food was delicious,no issues only price
