"Come hungry" to this "long-standing" Old Irving Park "throwback", where a "warm" staff in white shirts and bow ties delivers "huge" portions of "consistently good" "traditional" Italian fare; the "old-school" surrounds are "straight out of a Godfather film", and frequent live music adds to the "charm."

I love the piano bar! Bananas Foster made next to your table is one of the greatest desserts I've had.

I walked in and half-expected to see the Corleone clan dining in the corner. Very old school Italian vibe, made me wish I had a big Italian family to share the delicious meal with.

Sabatino's is my all time FAVORITE restaurant. I LOVE this place and the food they serve. I have been going there over 20 years and they've never disappointed. Seriously, it is the BEST food you will ever have. Did I say I LOVE this place?!! Huge portions, you're practically full before you even get the main course. I love the Tortellini Bolognese, the Lasagna, the Fettucine Alfredo, the Lobster. The owners Enzo & Angelo are so awesome. They got to know me and my wife since we were weekly customers and most of the time they would send over a complimentary dessert. I've moved out of state but every time we come back to Chicago to visit family there's the mandatory stop at Sabatino's during the visit.

I am not one to write reviews, but Sabatinos is surely a gem. Classic Italian fare served as it is meant to be. Warm, welcoming ambiance, professional polite waitstaff (In fact, the best waitstaff I have ever encountered). When you walk in, it's almost like stepping back into time, when going out to dinner was an event, not just a quick to-do. Everyone was friendly, and no detail was left out. From the decor, to the food, to the people - my new favorite.
