Used to love this place when we
lived in Logan Square and every once in a while would stop by. I ate there a couple of months ago and when I was going in I noticed that they changed the name to Sabor de Chicago. The food was re-heated, so the meat was hard. Bad, bad, bad... I was so disappointed!

This used to be one of the best Puerto Rican restaurants in Chicago. The quality of food and service has gone down tremendously over the years

MOST DISGUSTING RESTAURANT EVER HOW YOU CALL YOURSELF A PUERTO RICAN RESTAURANT AND YOUR COOKS ARE MEXICAN NO OFFENSE BUT MEXICANS DO NOT KNOW CARIBBEAN FLAVOR..SOME 1 NEEDS TO CALL THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU ON THESE PEOPLE!!!

I've never been so disappointed of a Puerto Rican restaurant . Sabor Latino means Latin Flavor. This Place is Certainly missing the Latin Flavor in their kitchen. It's an embarrassment to name your Restaurant Latin Flavor and it's the complete opposite. I ordered 2 Alcapurias and 1 Pastelillo. The Pastelillo was as Big as my Hand spread wide (8 inch wide 9 inch long). I'm thinking wow, quantity and quality. WRONG! It was as dry as the desert. The portion was so poor. I think they had 3 tea spoons of meat place inside of the Pastelillo and the rest was Masa (The Batch). You know Italians say,"Never trust a Skinny Cook." My advice is never trust an empty Restaurant. The Alcapuria was worst! Grease was dripping of it, 3 tea spoons of chicken and the Masa (the batch) Was Horrible. No Flavor at all. Not only did I return two previous Alcapurias that were dry and flavorless, but to receive two fresh out the pan and the only difference was they were hot off the Pan. WOW!! Management you have some work to Do! Next up is Ponce down the Block on North Ave and Central Park. I hope I can taste the Latin Flavor from their Kitchen.
