Basic Vietnamese food, nothing spectacular. Larger than average helpings but average taste. Could do with less. This was more expensive than the average Vietnamese restaurant.

I have been to this place four or five times. Without having extensive knowledge of Vietnamese cuisine I have to say that I have always enjoyed my meals. The rolls have been consistently delicious (I usually order the vegetarian). The soups (I have tried the salmon, the beef and the pork) are fantastic my only complaint being that they are too big for me to finish!

The staff that I have encountered has been really friendly. Give this place a shot.

We have been going to Saigon Remembered for years, roughly once a month. Their food is always fresh and tasty, and their portions are just right, if not a little on the copious side. Our favorites are "grilled lemon chicken" and "shrimp in clay pot." It's a very solid place.

i have been eating at saigon remembered for years, however in the last year i've noticed that there have been many changes in the wait staff, the professionalism is very poor and the service is horrible. still, because i know the owner and because i am Viet., i have continued to eat at this restaurant to support her business. this all changed after this past saturday when i chose to have dinner at this restaurant. after waiting at the front desk for 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me, i asked the waitress for still or sparkling water which she told me "we don't have any" (and i have ordered it there before), and then when i told her "you have it at the bar. could you please check?" she had another waiter come to our table instead. they served us our appetizers without utensils and then just as i was about to bite into the main course, i saw a mouse about 5 feet away from our booth. the table behind us also noticed the mouse and the owner came over and asked "if i saw something". i said "yes, and he keeps coming out"; and she never apologized, just said "ohhhh" and walked away. the waiter also knew about the mouse and no one apologized or asked if we would like the bill discounted. i immediately asked for the food to go and the waiter just said "ok." this was such an unpleasant experience and i will never dine there again! not to mention the food is not even that great! if the mice are out when there are people around, imagine what is happening when the restaurant is closed and the lights are out.

This place is lucky to get the scraps of the Senator theatre's audience. Those who don't feel like waiting 30 minutes for Cafe Zen or paying up for Taste. It's not even as uber-cheap as it looks (or should be).

I had a scary pho soup full of MSG and scrap meats.

I literally filled 4 napkins regurgitating meat I was too disgusted to swallow. How's that for an pre movie appetite.

I'm sure the rest of the menu isn't bad, but maybe try vegetarian?
