05/23/2015 12:00 amMy wife and I are here from Michigan for a week and we were told that the Salt Rock is a great place for dinner. We weren't disappointed. Our waiter Ryan was very knowledgable and helped in our decision when ordering our dinner. A very pleasant atmosphere, although; the decibel of the people talking was quite loud. I ordered a one pound ribeye and it was at the top of all steaks I ever had. Grilled perfectly as ordered and flavorful. My wife had a grilled mango salad which was very good. If you are debating whether or not to eat there take my advice, you won't be disappointed. |

04/24/2015 8:26 amWe had our son's rehearsal dinner here on Friday, April 17, 2015 with 75 guests in attendance. There are not words strong enough to explain what a wonderful experience every aspect of our party. was..from the first day 9 months age when I called to schedule the event. The event planner Jack made everything easy for us.The staff was so accommodating and the food was delicious. I'd be amiss if I did not recommend this venue for a personal party or any event. Hats off to all of you at the Salt Rock Grill. Thank you for everything. |

04/20/2015 11:02 amWe had not been to the Salt Rock in about 18 months. Took a guest there last night. Quite frankly we were disappointed. First I want to speak well of the wait staff. Joe, our waiter, and his helpers were very good and attentive. It was the food which disappointed us. Several of our favorite items have been removed from the menu. The garlic mashed potatoes were luke warm and dry with little garlic flavor. My lobster bisque was tasty and came to me in a very hot bowl but was barely warm. Clams casino were still attached to the shells which made them difficult to eat without losing all the ingredients. It was good to see the large crowd still coming. But I think they are riding on a reputation of past success. It will be a while before we return. |

02/01/2013 12:34 pmFood: Made a reservation about 1/2 hour before arriving, arrived and was taken to our requested booth. The atmosphere was very nice, it was a cool windy night so the doors to outside were closed. The waiter, Jef (with one f), was so nice and efficient. We enjoyed a great trio appetizer of meat, pork & chicken complete with it's own little barbecue grill to keep it warml! The lobster tail, though large, really did not have much flavor to it, and the butter did not add any flavor, it was bland. My partner enjoyed the Strip Steak, and the dessert, chocolate raspberry torte was very good. |
