03/07/2016 5:19 amThe service was horrible. I had to wait almost 30 mins for a Seafood Fondeux, so I can only think that it was prepared when I ordered it and that it was not prepared in bulk, especially since it's similar to a soup. Really? Seafood Fondeux is only an appetizer, and it's not a main course meal. I also ordered a glass of Merlot Wine, and it was so watery that I had to inquire about the brand. I would not recommend this particular Saltgrass restaurant in San Antonio to anyone. Oh, and by the way, the Bartender was not very accomodating nor friendly, and I am not sure if his attitude was because of who we were, but surprisingly he had the nerve to give us the receipt annotating the recommended tip. How shameful!!! |

02/28/2016 1:09 amI came with my girlfriend's family and I ordered the new York steak and... Didn't like it. At all. And I'm not a picky eater, closer to garbage disposal. I've never sent food back before but after the encouragement of party I did... And I'm REALLY REALLY GLAD!! I literally went from the worst steak I've had in my life to the second best! But better than that, was their customer service. The waiter told his manager, and then the manager came over apologized, took my old steak AND my order and brought it out to me in relatively no time at all. And that's why I gave it 4 stars. I'd even go back again; just because I have the confidence there that if Im not 100% satisfied, they'll make it right. Oh! I changed my order from the New York to the 6oz bacon wrapped filet with Blue cheese. I highly recommend it. |

12/26/2015 10:43 pmMy girlfriend and I went to salt grass at Huebner oaks location with full knowledge that they cater to people with gluten free problems since my girlfriend has celiacs. Well we went there, got our gluten free menu, ordered an apetizer, which contained shrimp with chicken and grilled onions. We got our plate, took a few bites and noticed that the grilled onions were actually battered in flour, and already cross contaminated everything. This is rediculius! How could they do that, putting other people's health in danger. Imagine if it was a someone else, and instead of gluten allergy it would have been peanuts. They would had had some serious reaction, coming out from a "peanut free menu". Defenitely would not recommend it ever. Extremely disappointed. |
