was there last night with my husband for our annual corned beef st. patricks day sandwich. delicious as always and walked out with green beads from sammy himself. it won't be year before we return for sammy's famous corned beef sandwiches.

The deli sandwiches are phenomenal. Good price, hearty, fresh and tasty. 2 thumbs up.

I will challenge anyone who doesn't think this is the best corned beef sandwich to find me a better one.

...and then I will punch them in the face. Because they are wrong and they can't.

I work downtown and I eat here once every 1-2 weeks.

Sammy's has the tastiest corned beef that I know of on this planet. I've given up on ordering Reubens from other places because it's just pointless. It's never as good.

The owner, bartender and other staff are all fantastic people who make me feel welcome whenever I stop by. Service is always fast even during the downtown lunch rush. They keep good beers on tap. The vibe is nice and divey, which I appreciate. There's really nothing I would change or improve about this place. Hence, the 5 star rating. They basically do one thing, and they do it better than anyone else.

If you like Reubens, or sandwiches in general, you owe it to yourself to try theirs.

I really didn't like my sandwich I felt like they just slapped all my meat on my sandwich it was sloppy and they seem racist, I like the one located in the hill district better! Horrible sandwich horrible place! Very uncomfortable!
