Love the Lobster Bake, it's delicious. The owner is so nice too.

Really disappointed about this place, not even close of my first time there 5 years ago. Don't worth the money you pay for the food, absolutely horrible lobster that tasted like it had been cooked hours ago. Not recommend it at all.

Friendly atmosphere and the food was excellent. Flounder and Talapia were both superb!

If it wasn't for the waiter, Justin, I would not of even given you two stars. The escargot I ordered, which is one of my favorite foods, was so saturated with butter and garlic that you could barely taste the snails also missing the bread. Secondly, and the most important, is that the whole main lobster came out cold, actually it was the tail, the claws were fine, and they returned it to me in the same cold shell that it came in, not sure if it is was nuked but came back out lukewarm. On the brighter side, my son's salmon was delicious. Would not recommend your restaurant to anyone. Customer service is everything in this environment where there is so many other places to chose from. If a manager would of come over and spoke to me about the issue, it would of showed that they cared as to whether or not I was enjoying my evening with them.

The decor is scmaltzy, but I like it. My husband and I have been going to Schellenger's for years and have never had a bad experience, except for one year during "Restaurant Week" when the NYers seated behind us complained about everything and were very obnoxious about it. They had 3 kids who were very noisy and demanding (much like their parents) and were running the waitstaff ragged.

Other than that, it's always been good. It does get hectic between 5 and 7 pm, so that can account for a long wait sometimes.
