Schlotzsky's Sandwich, San Antonio, Texas, Delicatessen Restaurant Details

My first time eating at Schlotzsky's will be my last. My coworker bragged about their sandwiches. This location was short on staff I suppose because the line was long and the food was not quick to come out. I soon noticed that after my coworker's order, I still hadn't received my food and people after me were getting their food. I asked the guy packaging food if he had my order. He simply said yes but did not put in an effort to have my sandwich prepared. Finally a number of orders went by I asked again where was my order. The manager came up and instead of apologizing for their incompetence, he got an attitude and simply said it was overlooked. Then told someone to put a rush on the chicken. Four sandwiches later, it finally came up. After waiting all that time for a small chicken sandwich, I'm still baffled as to why people claim the sandwiches are good. It was not and the service was even worse. I will never patronize this establishment again and definitely will not recommended it.

Love the food but the store's not up to the brand. Good people behind the counter. The atmosphere is depressing.

They never answer the phone and are very slow when you order in house.....Such a shame because of the great food....
