Sea Galley Restaurant, Anchorage, Alaska Restaurant Details

Food:

Worked at sea galley in Yakima Washington as a teen. (Long ago!).my step daughter worked there 25 years later and Loved it! Loved the food and the atmosphere. I am bringing my husband to anchorage for Dinner on the 30 th from Utah - needless to say I want to impress him- it's a birthday suprise! What is your best dinner? He loves halibut and king crab.

Food:

The Good: Blue Cheese was divine! Server was friendly, booths are private and secluded. Nice portions. Calamari was great!

The Ok/Bad: Salad bar is a bit overpriced. Wings were mediocre at best. Steak tips were good, but sauce was bad.

It was an ok experience. Not something that was amazing but ok.

This place is extremely overpriced for what you get. The salad bar was fairly good but the service was HORRIBLE. The WORST service I have ever had. I have never not left a tip until this place. It literally took two hours to "enjoy" our meal there because of the SLOW and AWFUL service. We were lucky we got the salad bar add on for our $16 hamburger so we had something to eat while we waited for the food. Just to get a refill on water never happened, even after the server coming to the table and saying he'd be right back with it.

Then, I kid you not, 30 minutes to get the check when we told them we were done and ready for the check. I timed it!

We will NEVER come back and tell anyone who is thinking about to reconsider and why.

We love you guys! The food is wonderful. Pricey but we go almost every week.

app were awesome.. well for the most part the apps were good. But what i didnt like was management i never in my life seen a manager talk to her employees like this young lady. she looked in her 20's wears glasses worst customer service. i understand being strict. but if you are over strict you shouldnt work in a industry where you will be running around constantly. very rude i love sea galley an the apps I almost spoke up to her. Teddy was a great server an i hope he gets paid a highly wage to have to deal with that atittude. Who wants to eat somewhere where all you hearing is a manager talking about her employees to other employees
