We tried Senior Ric's a few weeks ago and was pleased to find a nearby place we throught was decent for greasy Mexican food. We returned this weekend and it all went downhill. My fiancée became violently ill in the middle of the night from food poisoning. Based on timing it was due to salmonella. Never again will we walk into Senior Ric's. Be careful, Denver. Improper food handling can kill people.

Brought my crew to Senior Ric's for lunch. The service was great we got sat, they brought out 2 things of salsa and a thing of chips (salsa was very good, and chips were warm)when salsa got low they brought another out right away, same with the chips. Refills were fast (before the other was empty) food was great I got the Mexican hamburger (one if not the best I ever had) great flavor. The pork green chili was awesome, so was the guacamole. I love Mexican food and this place would rank right up towards the top!

First time there. The waiter wasn't very personable. I accidentally spilled my drink in front of him while ordering. He didn't offer to clean it up. I had to clean it up. I wasn't given a rag to wash it. The table was sticky. I asked for another drink which I thought would replace the one it spilled. No two drinks on the bill. I won't go back here. Any big name restaurant wouldn't of did this. Two thumbs down. Food wasn't very good either....

At least four stars for consistency , taste, $$, service. We try them all but Ric's is one we always come back to. If you have an issue, just ask for the manager. NO PLACE is perfect and a customer isnt always right.
