04/16/2016 7:33 pmApril 16, 2016 1pm. What took off very slow with service turned into a fantastic experience! Our waitress forgot about us to start things off. But with only 2 serving, we understood. Instantly, things turned around with the food coming out as quickly as it did. The portions of food is abundantly generous. The cod, shrimp and muscles was great. But the squid was above and beyond the best. The beef, in my opinion, was average. All and all, the humorous service and authentic food will have me coming back for more. Very good showing. |

10/29/2015 7:59 pmThe yuk gae jung was authentic and served in a large metal bowl. A traditional ceramic bowl with the soup boiling would have been superior but it's difficult to complain when the metal bowl could've easily served two. The six side dishes were very fresh and diverse including the cabbage kimchee which was the best I've had since living in Korea. I had water with my meal which kept the cost to approximately $10. Definitely worth that price. The restaurant is very clean and my waitress/owner was very friendly. The only drawback with Korean Restaurants in the USA is their reluctance to refill the side dishes and rice bowl when they are eaten during the course of the meal. Any Korean restaurant worth their salt would never allow that to happen in Korea. Overall it was a very good experience and probably the best Korean restaurant in the Nashville area. Be careful of their funky hours as they close for 3 hours between lunch and dinner (2-5). |
