10/07/2015 2:28 amI had a chance to finally visit Brenda's today. We got there around 3pm, quite late for lunch but they were still serving about ten tables. I was happy to see that there was no line and got seated right away. We ordered Fry, and Vignette Flight, which is a sampler of all their signets: crayfish, apple cinnamon, Hildegarde chocolate, and plain. I've heard and read about Brenda's and their great food for quite some time and was very happy to confirm that they are indeed magnificent. |

08/17/2015 1:23 pmBeen meaning to try more of the Cambodian restaurants in my area (Long Beach having the 2nd largest Cambodian population outside of Cambodia, after all) and after reading a friend's review I knew I had to go! The place is very spacious, and our group of five did not have any trouble getting a table at 6:30pm on a Wednesday night. This place has been around a long time and the decor and furniture might show it, but the food was legit. We decided to go family-style and ordered a bunch of items to share: chicken wings, beef skewers, amok tray (The item I was really looking forward to--a type of fish curry. It was slightly different from the version I had in Cambodia but still great), and a few other items. Everything was well-prepared and delicious, and we had a fab time just chatting it up while enjoying the good food and service (some of the best I've experienced at local Asian eateries). Next time I'm craving Cambodian, I'm coming back! |

08/06/2015 2:32 amI went here with a friend to try and fulfill a pho craving and it wasn't the greatest experience I've had getting pho. It took a while to get our orders taken. The food wasn't that great and overpriced. I got charged for rice I didn't even ask for and which was never stated to cost extra, my lemonade was basically just tart, yellow water, and the teryaki chicken was a dismal amount for 9 dollars. I spent 30 dollars for two people at this place and the food was barely decent. I wouldn't go here again unless everywhere else was closed and I really just wanted pho. If it cost 10 dollars less I would have been fine with the price, or if it had been food that tasted good enough to cost 30 dollars but it didn't. |

06/27/2015 2:49 amThe worst restaurant in long beach.the food is awful,as for the price is twice more than any other restaurant. They cheat you on the food prices . I just went tonight and they doubled the food price thinking we would not notice. I want to inform anyone before they go to be careful . They will cheat you off too . |
