I've been meaning to go here for a while, but it's a little out of the way for me. I managed to make it there today right as they were closing. Usually, when a restaurant is about to close, they are quick to push you out the door, but the people here were so warm and inviting. I tried to make a decision quickly, so I chose the veggie burger. What a great choice! I didn't want cheese, so they suggested I add avocado. Another excellent choice. This was definitely one of the best, if not the best veggie burgers I've ever had! All I was thinking about while I was eating it was how I can't wait to go back. This place is definitely worth the trip, from the friendly and inviting atmosphere to all of the delicious healthy food they have available.

I love this place. My husband and I regularly eat here. The food is of high quality. The service is fantastic. They have a nice outdoor patio that is dog-friendly. Excellent!

This is a MUST for anyone in Siesta Key. I can't say anything bad about it, besides it being so far from home for me. :)

The owners are a friendly British couple with an incredibly courteous serving staff. One of the owners greeted us immediately upon arriving and seated us. While there is plenty of seating, this place was packed. It appears as if they've been there for a long time and have also taken up 3 storefronts in the plaza, and are located right next to a large bakery, which may be where they get their breads from? (I may need to be fact-checked on this as I'm making a few assumptions...lol).

I ordered the green tea with lemon and my boyfriend had the caramel latte with a bit of cocoa powder on top. Both were so delicious! Our server was Jodi, who was incredibly sweet and courteous. Loved her!

For lunch I had a very difficult decision (which is always a good sign of a well thought-out menu in my opinion). I narrowed it down to the London panini and Roast Beef panini which happened to be Jodi's favorites. I ended up going with the London which BLEW MY MIND. Holy panini. I've never had a roast beef sandwich or a sandwich with horseradish sauce...as I honestly don't care for either. But I'm always curious when an item is listed first on the menu. ;-)

For dessert, we were quickly swooned into ordering the chocolate peanut butter cookie. If I were to truly describe how amazing this was, there would be too much profanity in this review. Just know you can't leave without trying this. ;-)

We will absolutely be back to this gem, as Siesta Key is our favorite local vacationing spot.

My favorite place for lunch. When I'm in the hospital, I always make my husband bring me food from Simon's to help me get well. Salads, soups, sandwiches, lattes, all great! What else can I say?

Used to be great, but has grown complacent and gone downhill.

The blackboard often has new, fresh things on offer. Too bad they're not very interesting. Often it's just a variation on something they already offer, or a "seasonal" way to ruin coffee or tea.

The service has never been all that attentive (but always friendly and knowledgeable). They always remember you, what you wanted, and all about the menu. They just don't notice when you need a refill, when you're done, or when you're ready to order.

Long waits for expensive, mediocre food.

You get it their way. Asking for a substitution or customization that's not on the menu gets you dirty looks.

Their full menu isn't available all day, despite just being open for breakfast and lunch. Really, how hard is it to make a croissant sandwich after noon, or make a cold-cut sandwich before 10:00? Does it require a whole kitchen overhaul?

Good coffee and tea if you don't mind waiting, or paying more than Star*ucks, or getting your order wrong, or having it contaminated by the flavored version they put in the pot last time.

There are always healthy things on the menu, though a lot of the options are boring.

A few options were stellar, and were the reasons I came back (as well as the slightly overpriced but bounteous deli they run on the side). Too often now though, the quality is greasy-spoon-diner, with four star prices.

Keep your $10 fruit-and-yogurt plates, and the $12 sausage-egg-brie (with veggie option) greasy crossandwich (once delicious, now usually stale, and always only available for breakfast). I can make this at home, and better than what they're serving these days.
