05/01/2015 11:51 am"Delicious" Mexican standards and "potent margaritas" get a "modern spin" at this "convivial" contender near Grand Central; the "cavernous" space can get "noisy" (especially after work at the bar), but the "tableside guac" alone justifies the "price of admission." |

12/25/2014 8:21 pmFood was delicious! I had the Santa Fe Enchiladas and my wife had the Carne Asada with Chimichurri and both were excellent. Plates are in the $15-30 range, but the restaurant is pretty nice and the food is more "elegant" than just Tex-mex. Our server had a great attitude and kept our drinks filled. We would definitely come back for a special night out. |

11/19/2014 10:48 amGreat atmosphere during happy hour, very tasty mojitos. However, the taquitos were very small and had a very bad experience drinking their water: it had a terrible after taste, more or less like corrosion. I talked to the manager and hopefully they resolve this problem soon. |

05/13/2014 10:59 amOne of the best Mexican restaurants in NYC. I've introduced several family/friends who all rave about the food as well. The guacamole and sweet butter are reason enough to try this place. I'd recommend the Santa Fe enchilada stack. The margaritas are strong but flavorful, which I'd recommend the strawberry if you enjoy sweet drinks. For dessert, the chocolate cake was perfect with a side of ice cream. The service is somewhat mediocre, which is perfectly fine for a relaxing dinner/date-night. |
Food:
04/04/2014 5:03 pmOverpriced food and mediocre service. I had the deep fried ice cream-and I liked it-but that might just be because it was ice cream and deep fried, no innovative touch or interesting flavors. The waiter took forever to get our bill, we eventually had to get out of our seats and look for the waiter to get it. Not sure this place is worth the prices it charges. |
