10/03/2015 6:12 amWent here for lunch today since my job is nearby. This was my 1st lobster roll and boy was it good. I had a bite then warmed it up and it tasted even better. My suggestion is heating it up but it was very good as is too. The bread reminds me of a garlic bread. Very crispy not soggy at all. I also got the shrimp roll and that was good too. I really enjoyed both and the portions were good in my opinion. Definitely enough meat to taste property. Definitely coming back. |

08/03/2015 2:34 pmVery old and elegant feel. Paying pretty much for the spectacular view of Long Beach and it's surroundings. Food is average and very expensive. Service was attentive and exceptional. |

08/02/2015 2:13 amThis place has 4 people sitting at the bar, 2 bartenders and nobody bothers to even ask if we want one more drink. Very poor costumer service. Very disappointed. Left without even ordering food due to bad service. Menu prices are for fine dining nad staff is chatting in the corner and checking on their phones |

07/21/2015 3:27 amAMAZING COCKTAILS. Try the Rita Hayworth, it'll blow you away. Went during happy hour, tons of drink specials and appetizers too. A little pricey but the atmosphere combined with the food, beverages and the VIEW makes it worth the extra $$. |

12/28/2014 12:22 amThis was a wonderful restaurant with amazing food and service. We had the duck and filet mignon, and had wonderful servers named Sarah and Sami. The music is both upbeat and relaxing, the Art Deco decor is authentic looking, and the view of Los Angeles and the ocean is splendid (we were even able to see fireworks from one of the theme parks!). The only thing preventing this rating from being five stars was one of the hostesses named Chanel, who, to be quite blunt, was rude and condescending in her interactions with us when we arrived and were seated, and again when we departed. When I called the manager afterwards to give my many compliments and one complaint, he was absolutely professional and polite. His and our serves class (as well as the delicious food) more than made up for the classlessness of that hostess, and we will be recommending this fine restaurant to our friends back in Oregon, as well as be returning the next time we are in Los Angeles. A solid four stars, and hopefully next time it will be five! |
