Friendly service. Came a bit after usual dinner hours and they were out of beef ribs, which the server said was typical at this time of day. Had the brisket and it was excellent. Beans were fresh and crisp. Coleslaw was good and the potatoes were great. Dad had the pork ribs and enjoyed them. Overall, very good. I would recommend Smitty's.

Ordered Beef Rib, over the phone and I got pork ribs, went back to get the right order and got re-heated beef ribs. Not cool!!

Only once I went there and never again!!! The prices were outragious for the servings they gave. The place looks rundown and old. I do not think this place is what it might have been in the past.

Portions of meat are greater than famous daves or other joints like those. Lookin at $10 plates average. Seems homemade and has good taste.

I travel across the U.S. for a living and rely heavily on Google reviews of places to eat. I am not sure what some of these people are thinking, but Smitty's is terrible!!!

I ordered the Hot Link as an appetizer, they were out.

I ordered the recommended Beef link, lousy. Was like a large beef hot dog split open.

Beef Brisket was a joke! It was the thinnest, driest Brisket I had ever had in my life.

The beans were grainy and cold.

The German fried Potatoes had no flavor.

The Cole Slaw had hope, but you only get 3 to 4 fork-fulls so really hard to tell.

The food was obviously reheated in a microwave and was served within 5 minutes.

If you need fast, terrible dirt roadside food, this is your place.

I strongly recommend you go elsewhere, anywhere for Texas BBQ.
