Renamed the Sly Fox, we took a chance because we could walk there. Right off the bat I'm saying "don't go there," unless you want cold food, mixed up checks, the smell of something burning, and ambiance that's the feel of a dungeon. There were four in our party, two couples. I got the Lamb Shank. The meat was tender and delicious. The only problem was that it had been refrigerated and then not properly heated, as some parts of it were cold. It should have been dipped in hot broth for a few minutes. Then I didn’t get the accompanying mashers because I ordered a side (which the manager said I could do). The waitress said that the side was in lieu of the mashers. I asked the manager about this and he deferred me to the waitress. She was perfectly right but the way the menu reads, it’s quit confusing and to be shunted off to the waitress when the manager had previously told me I could get a side in addition to the main course which sits on top of mashers, well it made for an unpleasant visit. After we got home we discovered the waitress had mixed up items on our other couple’s bill with ours.

Alright food and attentive service but not the best place. They're not even a real sports bar! Atmosphere is boring & quiet & they show espn but NO GAMES! Its more of a restuarant for local families. If you're a young person looking for a fun hi-energy sports bar just go to Shorebreak next door, not here!

Met my SO on the internet, traveled to Va. Beach - not so bad, right? He takes me to a church parking lot. I'm thinking, 'oh, this can't end well'. Through the strip mall, we walk until we come upon a pub - not a bar, mind you, but an authentic pub (in a strip mall? Color me skeptical). Owner greets SO by name, okay, he gets a point. Heard I was coming to town? Yeah this might not be so bad. SO says 'order the prime rib. You'll like it.' Well alright cowboy, let's dig in.

HOLY EFFING MOTHER OF GOD. The smoked, grilled, prime rib is the best I have every had in the history of ever. *cut my teeth working in a five star restaurant up north*. The presentation was excellent (who the heck knows how to treat asparagus like this???). The house salad dressing, a smoked tomato viniagrette if I'm not mistaken, is ambrosia.

Three years later, if I don't get this prime rib at least once a year, and close to my anniversary? Well, that cowboy don't hunt. Ya dig?

This place is horrible. The food was bad at best and they mixed up my credit card with another patron, and would NOT fix it. I am currently in a 4 month huge battle to get a $170 beer off of my credit card. I never write bad restaurant reviews because there is usually at least SOMETHING good about the place. NEVER EVER go here, with their service and front office I am surprised this place is still in business.
