03/09/2014 10:45 pmMy wife and i have been to this particular location many times and always had a good experience , however on 3/7/14 it was awful . In all fairness, let me start by saying ,they opened on a night where nobody else had any electricity , major power outage in Greensboro. They had a generator and enough guts to take a chance on if they would benefit from this decision. It was soon obvious that the only 1 excited about this decision was the manager , everyone else had an attitude . Given the conditions , the kitchen staff did a wonderful job , but the assist. mgr. and the bar staff .... thumbs down . After sitting down at the bar , i made a small request to the bartender , to which i was told they would be happy to get a mgr. to take care of it . 20 minutes went by so i asked the assist. mgr. (Kitta) .... she said she would try to take care of it when she got a chance . 45 minutes went by she never got a chance , however she had time periodically to stand around and chat . After asking again, she got an attitude . Finally after waiting about 20 minutes for our check we asked again for it and were told that the computers were down and they couldn't give us one . So the mgr came over and explained their computer problem to us , to which i replied " while i'm sure you're not in the habit of giving away free food and drinks , there are only 2 options here , either i leave with out paying or you let me know how much i owe . He then tells me he will have the bartender hand write me a check but they can only take cash . With the exception of the food the entire night was a mess , from the staff walking around constantly complaining to each other to pants sagging below their butts and being ignored ,we should have made other plans . |

02/21/2014 6:35 pmEat here all the time. I've never left.dissatisfied. The food is always great. I always get a medium steak. They get it right almost every time. The service is also great. There was only one time I was unhappy. They were just extremely busy that day. |

10/24/2013 4:24 pmWhy have I never been here before?! My fiancé and I had the corn bread appetizer. The honey pecan butter was to die for! I almost felt like I was having dessert it was so good. I ordered The Cuban with a cup of broccoli cheese soup. The Cuban was so good. The soup was a little runny but not bad. My fiancé had the Pulled Pork Sammy with Brunswick Stew which were both very good. We are from out of town but I am definitely hunting this place down for a second visit when we pass through! |

11/26/2012 10:09 amI ate here 2 times. Obviously the first time warranted a return. I had the pork loin and it was delicious. Cooked exactly to my asking, which usually doesnt happen w/ pork. The second time, however, I was not impressed w/ the prime rib. It has no juices at all! You think of slow roasted prime rib dripping au jus, no, none. It, literally, tasted like peppered jerky. It was perfectly pink in the middle, yet, dry and smokey. It's my own fault for not getting something else, but not my fault for messing up what could have been a great steak. I had broccoli and coleslaw for sides. The coleslaw is slightly creamy, but tasted quite good and I'm not a coleslaw person. |
