Good BBQ, the ribs were delicious the meat so tender it fell off the bone. My wife had the ham she loved it. And all the sides were good.

I've never been to this place but I was curious about it. I took my mother to have lunch. First impression was that it was empty and aa looked around I realized my mother and I were the only Hispanic females in the restaurant??? We proceeded to check out the menu on the wall ( still wasn't greeted) we felt like outcast as if we didn't belong there.. They looked at us as if we foreigners.. Two older ladies took our order and politely cut my mothers meat in thinner slices, as requested. Yet they still looked at us like we didn't belong there?? I tried to put a face on but inside I just wanted to take my mother out of there and go somewhere where we felt welcomed. I tried to small talk with the other white younger lady but she didn't answer me back. I will NEVER go there again. Seeing another "white man come in and order and they welcomed him and smiled and told him to have a GREAT day! What? What century are we in? I felt like we were sitting in "back of the bus" if you know what I mean!? VERY BAD EXPERIENCE! Food wasn't worth the awe full down grading feeling they gave you

We ordered a large (take out) turkey, cut up, and all the trimmings for our family on Easter Sunday. It was excellent! Had a delicious "smokey' flavor.

Good ribs, good brisket, the beans and potatoes were nice, the zesty type of coleslaw, was so tasty. Down home kinda place, never heard of it! Thank GOD I Googled barbecue places on Goliad as I was running around here. The price for this very good, made from scratch food was ridiculous. I've paid much more for mediocre barbecue and sides, service was awesome.
