12/27/2015 7:41 pmAmazing smoked salmon omelette- very warm and attentive service - relaxed ambiance... They had their stuff together! Good location away from the crowded part of cross street ... I'll be back soon :) |

11/13/2015 4:16 amThey have delicious fresh baked bread. If you ever have a chance to try the apple bread, do it! They have great vegetarian options - no boring pasta and veggie burgers here. My favorite is the shakshuka. |

09/20/2014 4:01 pmGroup of 6 enjoyed fabulous service at this 3-generation cafe. We had a flatbread appetizer; scallops with olive oil roasted potatotes, peas, basil, tomatoes, fennel puree; chicken fried steak with kimchi collard greens, soy garlic mashed potatoes, and ssamjang gravy (spicy and delicious!); and heirloom tomato farfalle with house made pasta, zucchini, herb oil, and roasted garlic; chile rellano corn stuffed, green rice, and poblano radish salad. To kick off the Wine Wednesday evening, several of us enjoyed featured wines from women-owned wineries - not just a tasting but a health pour of each. Service (my pet peeve) was courteous and friendly. Our server had recommendations, knew the dishes and ingredients and, since this is a family-owned and run cafe, cared about what we thought. We'll definitely return. I hear they are known throughout Federal Hill for the best pot pie - definitely fall / winter comfort food in that dish. |
