05/01/2015 2:12 pm"To-die-for" mofongo and pernil get washed down with "fruity vacation drinks" at this "clubby" Sutton Place Puerto Rican, where "loud Latin music" booms and someone's always "celebrating something"; the "enormous" repasts are "surprisingly affordable", but "bring your earplugs." |

04/25/2015 11:31 amLoved the food and the coconut sangria was really good! Definitely will go back! The club portion is in the front of the restaurant, the music was not really overbearing, there was a good balance. |

03/15/2015 9:46 amThis is not a 'as close as you can get' restaurant. This is the real deal. 100% puertorican comfort food. Everything is on point here. The arroz con gandules, the carne frita, the alcapurrias. You would think that you're eating at a high end restaurant in Old San Juan. You would never know by eating the food alone. The prices are NYC, of course, but totally worth it. |

02/18/2015 9:44 amLapin and I came here for dinner one night. He has been wanting to try this restaurant for ages, so we decided to give it a go. We didn't have a reservation but we didn't have to wait long to get a table. The restaurant wasn't very crowded. There was an company event taken place which was very loud, distracting and congested the bar and entrance area. I feel like they should have a private party room as it took away from the ambiance of the restaurant. |
