Service is always good! Very busy place. Worth the way

Food:

Place is dirty.
Went into the restroom to wash my hands and had to hold my breath. Just foul.
I ordered a sandwich, fries and lemonade.Sandwich was actually pretty good but the fries were just too salty, my drink was good too.
They need new cups. You can tell those have been around.
Service took a while too.
The waitress seemed to be friendly but when I wanted to ask for take out plates she completely shut me down. I guess because she was so busy. But It felt just awful.
I don't plan on visiting this place again anytime soon.
But then again I am pretty picky about the places I go eat.
I'm sure others had a much better experience.

Went to Spencer's on Rosedale for dinner a couple days ago and the restaurant was completely dirty. Food all over the carpet. Food was not even that great. As we were leaving and paid at the counter, the cook came around to the front of the kitchen area and was mopping food up but pushing it under the counter. There were piles of food all over the floor. YUCK! It was ABSOULTELY DISGUSTING!! Would not recommend this one at all. However, we have been to the one on Mcnair Ln several times and its fantastic.

Food:

Huge selection of your run of the mill diner food. Short order cooks do a good job during a rush. Its not that difficult to slather gravy on everything anyway. The wait staff are friendly and quick. The atmosphere is one of a truck stop. The building is getting old. Your typical greasy spoon.

I worked there for 3 years, the ppl r great. when really busy, the service lags a little. but they r great ppl and also have a great selection of fooood!
