We came here not knowing what to expect. However we were extremely pleased. The service is one of a kind in Houston. The staff is very attentive and professional. Our waiter was great and took good care of us.

We ordered the crab cakes for an appetizer, they were delicious. For dinner we ordered the fish of the day and the ribeye steak and WOW, both were very tasty and full of flavor. The desert; the Bread Pudding, was out of this world. I highly recommend this restaurant. I'm certain that you will be pleased and leave here very happy.

Great service and execution. I love my steak medium well and they nailed it to perfection. Not overdone not underdone, timed it perfectly. Juicy in the middle and a little bit red. Great sit down dinner waitress was very attentive and not a bad looker if I do say so myself.

Fantastic crab cakes and calamari. The steak sandwich was literally a delicious cut of steak, nicely cooked and served on a grilled French roll. Thinly cut fries come with it. An excellent lunch!

I sat in the bar at a table in the Steaks and Chops area and had the salad with blue cheese and the Hangar Steak with Spencer's Fries and a couple of delicious ice cold Stellas. The food was outstanding. The steak was juicy and perfectly cooked and the fries amazing. The salad was topped with wonderful little fried onions. The service was excellent. The whole thing was an outstanding dining experience. We live in Houston so I had never had a reason to go inside the hotel before but it is beautiful. Normally I wouldn't eat in a hotel restaurant unless I was staying there but this one is worth the trip. It was really really good.

Have you ever walked into an empty restaurant and was refused to be seated? No, we were not dressed wrong. All the tables were reserved. Or at least they were within two hours of the time we arrived. It seem that from the time we arrived to two hours later, all of the table were to be filled. But that was ok the manager said we could eat that the bar.
