Spicy Panda, Houston, Texas, Chinese Restaurant Details

I happened to go to Spicy Panda because i was Lowe's Nearby and thought of having chinese for dinner. Despite the dismal appearance, I decided to try it.
Being a vegetarian, I opted for 'Sauteed Mixed Vegetable', Which i normally try at every other Chinese restaurant. Afterall, how wrong can you go with mixed vegetables and sauce, But Spicy Panda proved me wrong. All the vegetables were definitely not fresh, and Baby Corn was distinctively stale. it looked like all of it was full with broccoli and other vegetables were to be searched for. On top of it, it was not fried properly and sauce looked like an after addition. And they took a lot of time preparing this, go figure.
I did order Vegetable Fried Dumplings too and that was eatable.
I don't recommend and will not visit again.

I've ordered from here several times. I find the staff to be very friendly and willing to make adjustments to their menu to adapt to my tastes. The only problem is that there really isn't much seating and even less atmosphere. It's more of a to-go type of place. However it's more than worth it for the price. Get food delivered, it's a breeze.

The food is good - better than PF Chang's in my opinion, abundant and inexpensive! The quality of food is consistent, too.
