11/20/2015 4:30 amI've been going to this Sprouts for a little while now, and it's been pretty normal, until just the other day. Bought some ground meat as part of my shopping and cooked it that night. Found multiple hairs in my meatballs. Brown hairs, just a few inches long. Here's the thing: I have blonde hair and a buzzcut, and I also live alone, so they obviously didn't come from my end. Pretty disgusting and disappointing. I threw out my meal, and since obviously Sprouts isn't the cheapest place to shop, the wasted money on top of it was like rubbing salt in the wound. I don't think I'm going to go back. I'm pretty upset about it, and there are plenty of other options for groceries around here. |

11/03/2015 5:04 pmSushi Wednesday is great! Super cheap and the quality is great. I have never had a problem with this store and it has always provided me with quality products. |

10/30/2015 10:57 pmI feel an obligation to warn people about this place. 3 months ago we bought a stuffed chicken breast from the meat counter. I thoroughly cooked it. My husband and I shared half of it and I gave a piece to the dog. 2 days later we were all sick. I'm certain it was the chicken breast we felt fine before we ate it and also this is the only food we shared with the dog. It took my husband who never gets sick 3 weeks to feel better. The dog recovered in a few days. Unfortunately I am still not better. I have been to doctors specialists changed my diet, taken antibiotics and am now undergoing testing. I have never had an experience like this in my entire life it has been terrible every week I kept thinking I would get better and haven't yet. The doctors are now thinking it is something called post-infection IBS/ SIBO. I was perfectly fine before I had that chicken breast. And of course now I think about all the signs: always thinking this sprouts was a little dirty and gross, wondering about the hygiene of a few of the employees, thinking the chicken breasts looked a little yucky even though we cooked and ate it within a day of buying it. But I guess hindsight is 20/20 at this point I just want to warn other people and I'm just hoping I get better. I had an appointment with a nutritionist today to help me try to deal with this SIBO stuff and she told me she'd spoken with someone about a month ago who also got sick from a sprouts chicken breast and that's what prompted me to write this review today. Their unhygenic and unsafe practices have basically wrecked my health. |

09/28/2015 8:17 pmThis Sprouts seems like it could be cleaner and the produce is not as fresh as usual or say as at Whole Foods down the road. I purchased 2 kinds of their own chicken sausages from the meat counter here and they were not tasty, and were on the verge of spoiling. |
