Went to St. Francis on our way to the children's museum. Here is the thing that makes me madder than anything. Being treated poorly in a restaurant because we have children with us. We are not jerks, we clean up the floor and the table behind us. We tip over 20%. We factor in the cost of the free kids meals and tip on what the bill should have been. We are good customers, good to those who serve us, and were treated crappy based on preconceived notions. While we were getting our crappy service at our crappy table by the front door I was staring at the New Times award for the 2014 best restaurant for kids. Good food and free kids meals aside, I doubt I will return due to the lack of respect and poor service.

I give the food 5 stars! Hats off to the chefs. Valet parking is not optional so bring cash for tips. The only reason my review is 4 stars is cause the service was not as good as the food. This place gets really busy. My wife and I got there just before 6:00 on a Monday and it was packed wall to wall inside. There are also seating options on a second floor and a side patio. The hostess did not ask us where we wanted to sit and tried to stuff us in a tiny table in a corner. It was so loud from all of the people and the music playing that we could not hear each other sitting across at the same table. The hostess and the servers seemed anxious or maybe stressed I assume from how busy it was, but that is not uncommon for this place so maybe it was just a bad night. We ended up standing up with our menus and seeing ourselves to the patio seating as out server and the hostess could not hear my calls over the noise.
The patio was awesome, very tranquil with all of the plants and vines. They also have a misting system installed so it's great on a hot AZ night. Very romaintic and quiet. We could not understand why there was only one other couple out there.
Our server figuered out were we went really fast and apologized for us not being asked initially where we would like to sit. Other than that this place is amazing and we go here every time we're in Phoenix.
Try the Salmon or Scallops!!

Very Disappointed- went for Happy Hour....not again
Drinks, tasted good but I question alcohol content
Food, nothing on the menu was appealing in the heat of the summer (who puts soup on the menu when it's 110*?) nor to mention the prices....it's not LA or NY wth

Went here for breakfast this weekend and was really impressed. Not exactly a huge brunch menu but what they do have is really tasty. I had the chorizo eggs and my wife had the breakfast sandwich. Both were done perfectly and were very tasty, perfect seasoning. Service was very fast and friendly. The seating is nice inside and out, and the building itself is quite interesting architecturally. Check out the old safe in the unisex bathroom ;)

I've been in St. Francis last month.I loved here, the ambiance is so good. I loved the foods that they're serving. The way they served to the customer was remarkable. Cocktails are so good too. Thumbs up.
