08/09/2014 2:27 pmPulled pork was not pulled more like cubed, and sauce was probably bottled at best and drizzled on chunks of "pulled pork", ordered two coleslaw cups and got one, and an order of fries, fries were limp and greasy. Service was to go, but the lady and guy working there seemed nice enough.. WI'll never go there again, anyone who says this is good bbq is obviously lying. Or have mistaken identity with somewhere else. And OVERPRICED. Definitely, not worth it. Hope this saves people time and money. Goodluck! |

01/30/2014 8:09 pmI found this place through google maps and went there to because they had a buy one get one half off offer. I asked the lady BEFORE if the offer was valid and she assured me it was. During our exceptionally long wait she asked me questions about our coupon and its stipulations. I informed her I didn't know, she saw it again and seemed unsure. I said charge us full price if its a big deal. She did of course. But not after me verifying it expired tomorrow. Not a big deal there, however, my brisket came cold and with no sauce. So I asked for some and she brought the wrong one. Despite the cold meat it was good. However, the potato salad (bland), BBQ beans (under cooked), fries (over cooked), etc was subpar. The fried chicken was great at first but then the center was "unnaturally moist" as my lady put it. I know I seem like one of those pussies who complains about everything online but I'm just a hard working, blue collar guy who loves BBQ and hates terrible service. This is one of those place that offers deals or coupons to get customers and then treats them like shit for being cheap. Go to Hek Yeah instead. |

03/07/2012 4:27 pmBBQ Brisket Soup should be what they call their meat entree here. Simmering an oven roasted brisket in a vat of sauce doesn't qualify as barbeque to me. And I say "oven roasted" because there wasn't the slightest hint of smoke flavor to the meat. The poor quality of the meat was enough for a bad review but the service set it back another notch. My coworker got his "light lunch" of 1/4 lb brisket a few minutes before me and when my 1/2 lb platter arrived I could obviously tell we had the same size. I pointed to my meat and asked the employee "This is a half pound?" He said "Yes" And then I pointed at my coworkers meat and said "This is a quarter pound?" Again, he said "Yes" without hesitation. The rest of the people at the table started snickering because it was blatantly obvious there was no difference. I didn't even want to write a review this long but I think I'm especially upset because my stomach still hurts from the half gallon of BBQ sauce I ingested a couple hours ago. If I weren't such a cheap skate I would have left it on the table. |
