Starbucks, Chicago, Illinois, Coffee Restaurant Details

Food:

This starbucks gets busy, but they never bat an eye, doesn't mean they can't mess up an order here. Most people avoid this place for the coffee shop down the street.

Food:

The staff is always friendly and it's very convenient, not to mention the rare, free parking lot. Get there in the afternoons and kiss most of the good pastries good bye. There are also a ton of college kids staking their claim to all the seating hunched over their devices for hours so forget about sitting down. They have a small outdoor seating area, which would be nice if people didn't cram a couple baby carriages and their dogs into the tiny space preventing anyone else from enjoying it. There are also two older European guys that sit there sometimes, smoking while disregarding the no smoking at patio sign. If you're in a hurry, makes sense to stop by. If you're out to take in the neighborhood, walk north on Lincoln to the three other neighborhood cafes.

Food:

Starbucks is always a good choice and a very regular option for the typical coffee connoisseur. The Starbucks in Lincoln Square has a great atmosphere and the people who show up from the community in Lincoln Square area add to the atmosphere. With that being said, it makes sense to go to a more local coffee shop down in this area to get a real feel for the local culture (there are many great unique cafes). This is true of any chain, however, there are many great options in Lincoln Square and Starbucks is never a bad one. If you live down here already and are a Starbucks regular, it is a great and relaxed place to hang out.

Food:

This Starbacks is located in Lincoln Square neighborhood in a beautiful old building that happens to be green. As such, it blends really great with the Starbucks brand!
It's a popular place, so it's usually packed full. The service and baristas are great and always smile while taking your order.
The place is kept clean and tidy, despite being so busy. Windows overlooking heavy foot-traffic Lincoln street are great for people watching, thus making seating by the window premium.

Food:

My neighborhood Starbucks! The line snakes around the cafe in the morning but moves quickly, and you will always be greeted with a smile when you make it to the register. (And more, if you're there often enough to learn your name and everything about your job, boyfriend, cats, etc.)
Oh, and the new pastries from La Boulange are just shy of life changing. Warm it up.
