Steak 'n Shake, Cincinnati, Ohio, American Restaurant Details

Apparently the store is undergoing maintenance according to handwritten signs posted outside of the building. My first attempt to eat here was going through the drive thru in the morning. The sign on the speaker said "Drive Thru closed due to maintenance, Dining Room only". Fair enough. I drove off, not having time to eat in. My second attempt was similar but switched around, with a front door sign saying the dining room was closed instead, but the drive thru was open. I pulled up, waited about 20 seconds for a male voice to tell me " Steak n Shake, we are currently closed ". Okay... I understand it being 7:30 in the morning, but is this restaurant not open 24 hours like the website and front doors say? Why does the door say drive thru only but you're closed being a 24-hour business? It was a waste of time. I won't be going there during normal hours and you shouldn't either if you value your time.

Quite givin up on this place.so sick of waighting forever to get my order taken. So tierd of the pancake breakfist being such a big hassle for employess.iv been here so many times at all parts of the day thinking it was just a bad day.no this place is just a derp.iv also had order messups alot.i think im going to try one of the others in my area.this place has failed me for the last time.

I get its late..but 6 employees and one is serving 25 guests.. watched 2 guys set at a table for 20 min..no drinks.. this is by far the worst managed store I have been too..
Not to mention worst back kitchen.

Love coming here with my family. Excellent service, great prices, and good food. I also love that my kids can eat free and I can use coupons for everything else! Make it easier to leave a really nice tip.

Our waitress Micah was awesome and the food was great. We couldn't be happier about our meal here
