07/25/2015 12:36 pmThere are two waitresses who are the reason this place got any stars at all, both are worth 5 stars. Kat, and the short sandy blonde haired girl with glasses and freckles. The "owner/manager" old piece of crap had the audacity to tell my buddy he had a fake $20 dollar bill, after verifying the water mark. I've counted money out and verified probably over 10,000 bills through various jobs in my life. Obviously didn't know what he was doing and was absolutely rude as all hell. oh...the food....it's steak and shake...ya get what ya pay for, if your order comes out right at all. |

06/01/2015 1:40 pmFirst experience. We were in line for 22 minutes in the drive through. The woman who took our order had to ask us numerous times what drinks and food we ordered. When we finally got up to the window the woman, who's name was 'Cat', was as slow as a turtle and did not care about her job. She was rude and it was clear that she was not happy working there. The people behind us starting yelling because the service was so slow. Regardless of the food, I will not come back. |

04/15/2015 8:45 pmI love Steak 'ñ Shake. I have been eating there since the first one opened up in Normal Illinois. Of all the steak and shakes I have been to in the last 60 years this one has got to be the worst. they can never get the order right. I am sick and tired of going to the drive up window and getting home and finding only half of my order is there. I would have to say at least 40% of the time. The order is seldom right.. They really give the company a black eye. When I call them and tell them that my order is wrong they say bring it back and we will correct it. Who really wants to drive all the way back just to get the order corrected when it should have been right the first time. |
