Steak 'n Shake, Toledo, Ohio Restaurant Details

Food:

I love Steak 'n Shake but mainly for their shakes only. Especially for the Chocolate Chip Peppermint one.
I've never had a problem with this place until last night when I decided to get a shake pretty late at night. I pulled up to the drive thru with 4 cars already in front of me... things seemed to be running slow so I decided to start a timer to see how long it would take to get to the speaker, get my order taken, pay for my shake & receive it. It took just 10 mins to get to the speaker and other 5 to get my order taken but by the end it took 23 mins to just receive my shake and finally go home. The worse part of this was that it was the worst shake I've ever had. It tasted nothing like peppermint... it tasted fruity.. by the time I finally tasted it I was too far to go back and get a refund because I had someone in the car that needed to get home because they had work early in the morning. I'm just so disappointed. I really wanted that shake last night :(
Whatever you guys do for drive thru needs to be changed. They way it's ran is horrible. I feel like one person was doing all the work

Ten minutes in the drive thru and there were only two cars ahead of me. They werent even busy in the restaurant so I don't know what is going on but the food is good.

EVERY single time i go there in the morning (2-530a) after work or a night out, it's a 15 minute wait. I called ahead of time a couple times so it'd be ready when i got there and both times, the order was wrong. Unfortunately, they're the only place open at that time of day when i don't feel like driving.

Love stake n shake but this location sucks. They are always out of stuff. I understand that your a restaurant and run out of stuff but when it eliminates a 1/3 of the menu it's unacceptable. The staff really sucks. Rude, really does not care. Should not take 20 mins to get your drinks (not milk shakes, could not get that they where out of chocolate). Plates tossed on table. Waitress says here you go and walks away. Normally I say ok there having a bad night but it's like that every time iv been there, so I will not be returning to this location.

So upset with this place. We got seated at our table and going through the menus. There were people that came in 5 mins after us. We just sat and sat and sat... All the other people (who had been seated after us) had drinks and already ordered food. My daughter dropped a crayon and went to pick it up. It was sooooo nasty under the table. Fries, piled up dirt, and just a disgusting mess. Still we waited. Waitresses kept going past us and never once asked if anyone had helped us. We got up and left after sitting for almost 30 mins! We will NEVER be going back to this establishment. SO DISGUSTED!!!! I would have givin no stars if it would have let me!!!!!!!!!! Also, they were not busy at all. There were more then 7 or 8 just waitresses. Then others....
