Vibrant yellow, red and orange hues set the tone at this affordable North Center BYOB, where the Northern Thai menu offers some exotic specialties made with unusual ingredients in addition to a wide selection of familiar soups, curries and noodle dishes.

Amazing food, and beautiful presentation. The menu is insanely huge. I will have to go back a hundred times to try everything!

The food here is delicious! The staff is friendly, but at least a few aren't native English speakers, so be prepared for a small language barrier. BF and I split a couple apps and Thai Northern dishes. The sour bamboo shoots are a unique taste that I really dug. We'll definitely be back. BYOB!

I went there with two kids, 5 pm, left there 29$ (27$ bill plus 2$ tips).
We came out hungry. Wonton soup was ok, sweet and sour soup was ok.
Dumplings were deep fried, overly oily and uncooked inside.
The place didn't feel happy. The napkins, utensils, everything was cheap, but the prices were not.
Parking wasn't easy - if you are coming from the south, the only way to park is U-turn. Don't try to get into side streets - it is a maze that would take you over 10 min to get out.
We went here because of good reviews and the price wise it was said to be a great deal for the money. That is what set wrong expectations.
I ate Thai in California and Maryland - the places were modern but this place feels old and unpopular. I guess it is the wrong area to look for modern happy restaurant.

Probably the best Thai I've had in Chicago, and I've been to Thailand. This is northern style thai, and you MUST order the green curry. We had it w/ duck and were very happy w/ our choice. Every dish we ordered was delicious and had a very natural flavor to it.
