06/08/2015 11:11 amFood was good. Had cheese plate and charcuterie which was good to very good. Husband had a pasta. Wine flight was not that interesting. Initially I attempted to order a martini (just felt like one even though it was a "wine bar" since they clearly had spirits available on the bar) but I was told they couldn't make one because they didn't carry vermouth. Really? A drink with two ingredients, and the one they lacked was a fortified WINE? Anyway, wine was pretty good but overall I was underwhelmed. Location near BAM is a plus but I wouldn't race back. |

04/23/2014 12:54 amMy wife and I recently discovered this lovely spot. The only other wine bar we had been to in the general neighborhood was Olivino. Stonehome is a much nicer wine bar. It has a warm and inviting decor. It felt like the type of place you would want to stick around in for a few hours. It seemed that is what people were doing. We didn't have any food and I am not enough of a wine expert to say whether it has a top notch wine selection so my rating is based mainly on the fact that it was a place I can't wait to go back to because of how nice it is. At the end of the day that seems to be the best indicator of the quality of a bar or restaurant. We're excited to go back for the outdoor seating in back. |

12/19/2013 4:45 pmSuper cute wine bar that's reasonably priced. Do a wine tasting flight for $18 to sample 3 different wines, and order a cheese plate. |

10/28/2013 8:11 pmThe massive bar area makes this spot such a gem. Eat the full menu there, which includes everything from wine flights to cheddar hushpuppies. Their jamon serrano works perfectly with red wine. They even have a daily featured wine, many options of which you can't find just anywhere. |

05/05/2013 5:36 pmI was quite disappointed by Stonehome - while the service and the staff there were very good, the quality of the wine and food that we had was really poor. The red wine flight was really unremarkable (and one was just not good at all), and the cheese plate seemed to be thrown together as a bit of afterthought (although the cheese itself was good, the bread was unfortunately stale). The decor is also a bit strange - the lighting is really bright for what seems to be styling itself as a romantic wine bar. |

06/09/2015 1:48 am"Unpretentious" but "romantic", this "cozy" Fort Greene wine bar boasts a 200-strong selection of "fairly priced" vintages matched with an "ever-changing" menu of "solid" New American fare; equipped with a "pretty back garden", it's perfectly located "if you're going to BAM." |
