Studio Movie Grill, Arlington, Texas Restaurant Details

Food:

Stopped here because we wanted dinner and a movie. We went to the bar because we had 30 minutes to kill...ordered drinks and had to find a bartender to cash us out because they were all playing on their phones. The food was decent but the setup makes it very disruptive with the waiters turning on their bright screens to place orders and loudly asking questions. Here's a tip: give people paper and have them write down their own orders. That's how Alamo Drafthouse does it and it works great. Moviegoers were checking their phones, talking, and kids were screaming and walking about and the staff said nothing.

We also had to track down the waitress so she could give us our bill. This entire brand doesn't have to worry about me coming back.

Food:

1 star is too much. The service was awful. We ordered drinks they didn't show up until we asked two more times. Who I was with never got her sweet tea but they were still going to charge us for it. They have a "tab" system now and they closed it without even asking if we wanted anything else. So they had to swipe our card again and again. We wish the guy that picked up our plates was our server. He was the one that provided us with prompt refills. We saw The Boss at 6:45 and the waitress was blonde. She is awful and couldnt remember anything and acted like we didn't tell her. We got our food with no drinks and people that got there after and ordered after got everything they ordered first. And lady it wasn't our fault it was yours. Horrible Horrible experience. Fire the manager obviously there is no training. It's not all the systems fault as they claimed. It was also really dirty. Their "assigned seats" looked like they have not been cleaned since they put them in there.

Food:

Recently renovated, food okay, some dishes are beter than others. I like to order a Pellegrino and for fatty foods the cheesy fries are good. Alcoholic beverages available. Service is pretty good. Surprisingly the salads are tasty. The screens are big, and reserved seating is a PLUS.

Came in the afternoon to watch London Has Fallen, thought my order was really easy...coffee/warm choc chip cookies. Not!
I rec'd a hot mug but the coffee was room temp, I sent it back, an attendant came back to tell me " it would be 40 min b4 he could bring me another cup, they had to brew some"
I asked what type of system they used to brew, could I see, being a chef I was really interested to see this. Ok, also sent warm cookies back so that my dessert & coffee would come back together & hot, Not, 2nd cup, microwaved coffee, lukewarm, very hot cup, hot cookies. Now the movie previews are starting, I just had warm cookies.

Food:

Horrible service. DO NOT GO HERE FOR A GOOD EXPERIENCE. We ordered some food and drinks. Food made it to the table but had to ask 3 times for drinks we never received. All we wanted was ice tea and they could not deliver. Finally we had to leave the theater and find a manager to get 2 ice teas. Its wasn't like we ordered a complected drink. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Service is what makes or breaks a business. I will never go back.
