Best Happy Hour in Nashville! From 4:30-6:30 on weekdays you get 1/2 price on ALLLLLLL alcohol (meaning all beer, wine, cocktails..you name it!). Also as part of their happy hour they have 1/2 price pizzas and $5 appetizers. And let me tell you they have some GREAT appetizers (smoke pork beggar's purse, hummus plate, crab cakes and more!). To top it all of they extend their Happy Hour to ALL DAY on Sundays... "Sunday Funday" just got a whole lot more fun! There is really exceptional food and people at this place. Their regular menu shines a spot light on local and regional meat and produce. There is so much delicious options to choose from. They also have multiple vegetarians dishes, are very accommodating to gluten sensitivities, and even have daily Vegan specials. Sunset really is one of my Nashville Favorites!

My friends and I came here on Feb. 2, 2014. The food here was excellent. Truly top notch. My plates were better than I expected them to be. It almost made up for the service. Our waiter was impossible to find when we were ready to order our entree, dessert, and get our check! My friends and I spent 2 hours in this restaurant, and almost half of that time was spent desperately trying to flag down our waiter. Waters went unfilled, pleas for service went unanswered. As a former waiter, I was appalled at the lack of competence. I was tempted to walk out (and I assure you there was no one there to stop me), but I would have felt bad for our lovely stewardess (she really was extremely pleasant). On the plus side, the world felt like an entirely new place after being held captive for so long. The air had a crispness to it the like of which I had not previously noted. I was determined then and there that I would make the most of my life, because one can never know when they will be the victim of a terrible, rude, and dismissive waiter. And the kicker? He threw on an automatic 20% tip for a table of 3 people! Come for the food, but pay in cash, because the waitstaff here (excepting the stewardess) will screw you over.

I always have an enjoyable experience at any of the Rayburn restaurants, but particularly Sunset Grill. For starters, the bar at Sunset is an intimate one that I have felt comfortable in when by myself as a single woman, on a date or with the girls. Sunset has a huge list of wines and the staff always knowledgable about what they offer and how it pairs with the food. They regularly have sales on their bottles and happy hour specials. I have enjoyed Sunset Grill for over ten years and it is always consistent. I know I can go there and have a great meal in a hip, yet relaxing atmosphere - I can spend as much or as little and still walk out with a full belly. The service, impeccable. Some of my favorite choices on the menu include the scallops, pasta dishes and the mussels. Their nachos and burgers are the perfect fit for those late nighters after a concert. I also love to join my girlfriends for cocktails there before an event and order from the list of appetizers that can please any pallet. It is hard to compete with a place that has been in business for over twenty years and continues to be innovative and fresh, while sticking to and celebrating its local roots.

Sunset Grill has been a Nashville icon for years. Randy Rayburn's staff makes every visit enjoyable. Consistently solid cuisine, impeccable service, and a relaxed but upscale environment. The late night menu is a welcome find, the free wi-fi makes it a wonderful place for a lunch meeting or a work session, and the ambiance makes it a good choice for a date or an evening out with friends. If you're looking for an all-occasion restaurant, Sunset will not disappoint.

The bread pudding is my favorite thing on the menu, it is so killer! Hit this place up after 10pm for a condensed (but delicious and well-priced) late-night selection. I also highly recommend the nachos.
