The food was good, but our cook kept pulling out his phone and wandering off for ten, fifteen minutes at a time. Several times we had to order from a different cook at another station, because our guy was nowhere to be seen. At one point, I asked for two different kinds of sashimi, and he handed me a plate with a tennis ball-sized wad of rice and slices of fish draped over it. Dude, I can tell you want to leave, but the restaurant is still open and you are still at work. Show a little more respect for your customers!

Rolls kept falling apart. Sushi didn't even taste very good and all of the chefs were behind the sushi bar cussing at each other in Spanish instead of listening to our orders. Very unprofessional. Will NOT be going back.

They has gone downhill. Been going for 5 years. And the food was good, but not anymore. Survives is bad now too. They make fun of the costumers, talk bad about them while they make your sushi. I no longer go because of this.

Worst sushi I've had in Reno. Fish and rice weren't fresh. Staff didn't know how to run a restaurant. As expensive as much better places like Iiji and Sushi Pier.

Had a great time, and the food was very good. The waitress was attentive and our orders came out very quickly. I was feeling like, hooray, we found a good sushi place near our house! Oh, but then the bill came out. Apparently, the woman at the front who rang us up (owner?); and who had seemed very friendly, coming by the table and chatting and admiring the baby, had seen us share some food with our three year old and decided that we needed to pay for another all-you can-eat. So, she wasn't being friendly, she was checking up on us. I think that paying for an entire all-you-can-eat is ridiculous for how much a three year old eats. Had they mentioned that they frowned on sharing with small children (preferably while we were ordering and eating), I would have willingly paid for something on the children's menu to placate them. But, come on, seriously? I have not had a single other sushi place in Reno take issue with us sharing with our little girl. So not cool.
