I'm working here on business and I've been disappointed by the food in Jacksonville. Almost every restaurant is a chain and thr food is usually mediocre. I had just about given up when I decided to try some sushi here. Prices are super reasonable, the food is delicious!!! Don't let the black out windows scare you away, this place is legit

I just found my new favorite sushi joint in Jax. My wife and I just moved here from San Diego and this is similar to Sushiya over by Point Loma. EXCELLENT prices (we got the three rolls for $20 and they filled us up). The green dragon, spicy crunch roll, and the crazy roll all tasted really good. I could/should have stopped eating, but the salmon fried rice intrigued me, so I tried a small plate. WOW! It was amazing. The salmon wasn't over cooked. It was very tender and tasty and we birth enjoyed it. We'll be bringing friends back here in the future.

I feel this place offers some of the best sushi in the world. I have been fortunate enough to eat sushi all over the world. Including having eaten sushi in Tokyo and in several regions of Japan.
My children love it as well. Anytime they feel that deserve a reward ( like if they get straight A's ) the first thing they ask for is a visit to the favorite restaurant.... Sushi House!
The staff is friendly and accommodating. I started coming to this restaurant 5 years ago. and sometimes it is a little inconsistent when In between owners. But overall it is fantastic!!

UPDATE*********** Went again last night.
As usual the food was Amazing! Children and I ate until we almost burst. Waitress commented thst she has never seen a bill as large as ours. (What can I say.... I likes me some sushi ) Always a slice of heaven when I go here with my babies.

I love this little restaurant. I go there every week or so. The sushi is great, especially for the price. They just went under new management and I like the changes they've put into place. I definitely recommend this to anybody if you're in the area.
