Very pleasant experience from the delicious food to the friendly, attentive service and pleasant atmosphere. Will return.

My experience at Sushi on Shea was just fine. The prices is a on the higher end of the scale but I'm ok with it as long as they have quality foods. However, what I'm NOT ok with is when I notice that they charged my card more than what I've signed on the receipt. I should go back there to show them my receipt & what's on my bank statement but then what? I'm NOT going back there...ever again!

My wife and I go to Sushi on Shea about once a week. Sadako the owner always greets us as we walk in, as she works there every day, and always has a nice smile and fresh sushi. The lunch menu is reasonably priced and the sushi chef will take custom orders if you want to make tweaks to any of the rolls. They also have a complete Japanese menu with curry, noodles, grilled meats, seafood dishes, and so on.

Nice but overpriced.

The fish was fresh and nicely prepared, service was good but not spectacular, decor is very nice and well maintained.

This would be a good place to go to take a date or a business client (especially if you're expensing it), but it's not a good value if you just want a tasty and filling meal.

While it is a visually impressive dining area with good atmosphere, neither the service nor the food are outstanding enough to justify the steep premium they are charging. I've had better sushi and sashimi for a much more reasonable price.

Overall, I'd say it's a good place if you're more interested in impressing your dining companion than actually eating.

I've heard about this place for a while and decided to try it since we were going to the nearby movies. The atmosphere was nice, but a little quiet - I later determined it was probably quiet because of a limited happy hour offering. The good news - 3 rolls @ $2 each, all of which were fairly good, the tootsie was the best. Bad news - no happy hour drink specials. oh well. still worth the trip!
