03/22/2014 9:18 pmAvoid at all costs - waited almost an hour and a half for small overpriced portions of poorly made sushi and sashimi. Should have left after the $6 vegetable tempura was 1/3 of the usual size at any other restaurant. Sushi chefs clearly have no idea how sashimi should be cut, pieces were thick and tiny. Sushi rolls were inconsistently divided into pieces and overloaded with cream cheese vs actual fish. Wasabi was tasteless and ginger tasted rotten/fishy. |

03/01/2014 8:30 pmI had previously visited Sushi on the rocks and took my co-worker there. Worst experience ever. The waitress was extremely rude and short the entire night, maybe because we had a Groupon deal she assumed we would not tip her properly. I have always tipped at least 20%. This was the first time in my life I left a $0 tip. We saw her speaking with the manager and the manager saw us clearly looking around for any waitress to assist us with placing a to go order. Another waitress got our waitress for us and she got our bill wrong at the end and snapped that we should have been more clear, when she never asked any questions. I was embarrassed that I had suggested this place, while the building was nice there are at least a dozen other sushi places in the area where you can receive far better service and they are actually priced better as well. I would never eat here again and if you want good customer service I would suggest finding another place to eat. |

07/26/2013 4:40 pmFor a place that is bold enough to put the word "sushi" in the name, I was a bit disappointed with my experience there. The service was slow (took nearly 2 hours to get our food), the food and drinks were expensive (we went during a half-off special night but even the cheapest rolls were more than twice the price of other sushi restaurants), and the sushi wasn't even very good. I spent over $60 on 2 drinks and 3 rolls of sushi (each roll had about 5-6 pieces). I honestly expected more from sushi at that price. I would be okay with that price if the sushi was phenomenal, hut it wasn't very good and was falling apart as if it were rushed. |

08/23/2012 9:35 pmBest sushi restaurant in Indianapolis! The fish is of a great quality... the roll combinations were delicious too. Tried the suggested "monkey brain" appetizer (it's actually just spicy crab and tuna) and was pleasantly surprised. I've had their non-sushi items as well, some things off of the Korean menu and they were authentic, very yummy! Atmosphere was nice, there was live music every time that I've been there for dinner. Lunch menu is also very reasonable if you don't feel like spending more at dinner. |
