05/22/2015 5:49 amWhile the food was well prepared, it lacked anything to really separate it from other sushi I've had. The staff was very approachable, friendly, and engaging if but a little slow to get to us at the beginning. The salmon sashimi was fresh and had a clean taste while the deep fried salmon with cream cheese (NC State roll) was flavorful and went well with a glass of Sapporo. |

03/20/2015 5:52 pmI've been to this restaurant many times over the years and have had no problem with it. I order plenty of sushi, and my favorite, the Nabeyaki Udon soup. |

12/21/2014 5:34 pmI really wanted to like this place, since my family and I have been searching for a good sushi place in the triangle. A good friend recommended Sushi Tsune, so we confirmed the high ratings on Google and decided to go. Unfortunately, we went last night. I've been up vomiting, with violent stomach pains and nausea. The sushi we did eat was substandard though with tuna that appeared to be the kind that's dyed to appear more red. It didn't have the "fresh" look of good fine fish. There's also an overuse of mayonnaise in many rolls, which is questionable all together. Check out the "honeymoon roll" if you love smelly fish bathing in mayonnaise with bits of roe. If you're an experienced sushi eater (outside of the triangle), I'd skip this place. |

09/09/2014 1:07 pmI am always searching for the "true" Japanese food experience. I'll have to say that Sushi Tsune is one of the most authentic Japanese restaurants I've visited in the Raleigh area. Their menu consists of both traditional and fusion sushi to please any palate. If you like authentic Japanese food, give 'em a try. |
