Sushi Wabi, Chicago, Illinois Restaurant Details

Started doing creative sushi before most. Still excellent option in a competitive environment.

I LOVE THIS PLACE.

My personal favorite was the Spicy Shrimp roll, and Tarantula. This place overall is a great place to get sushi, and I highly recommend it.

I'm no expert when it comes to sushi so I'm likely not the best person to consult on these matters. However, Sushi Wabi is a trendy, pricey, and elegant sushi locale in the West Loop, and if you're significant other is on you to provide a nice night out with sushi then I say go here.

Original and always tasty Sushi. Great wine list. Good value for money.

I would go there for business dinner or date.

If you can get past the crowd seatings and small cramp space of this place and just sit down to enjoy the sushi. Then his place is for you. If atmosphere means a great deal to you for your dining experience ... then honestly Sushi Wabi is not for you.

The Godzilla roll served here is still one of my most favorite rolls of any sushi place I have traveled to for business and I travel a lot. I also look forward to my projects in Chicago for a chance to go to Sushi Wabi.

The Fire and Dragon rolls are both very good as well. If you want something simple the Spicy Shrimp roll is recommended as well. They also make an offmenu deep fried Spicy Tuna roll that is fun to try and always available if you know about it.

My favorite place to eat sushi when I traveled used to be Maneki Neko in Carmel, IN, but every since I tried Sushi Wabi in Chicago ... I look forward now to visiting the windy city in January.
