08/17/2012 4:04 pmthe food hurt my stomach. I watched the dish girl go from doing dishes to prepping food without wearing gloves. The head cook/owner doesn't wear gloves either or wash frequently but handles money etc between making dishes. The other owner was rude and impatient, and replied with short detached statements. A friend of mine worked their and she said their walk in and freezer are disgusting with a thick layer of sticky substance all over the floor and lots of improperly stored foods. She said SHE was surprised they passed health inspection. And none of them have food cards. |

06/15/2011 3:17 pmThese people care what you put in your body! They have good quality ingredients in everything they make, including their delicious desserts. They seem a little short staffed sometimes, but for the low prices they charge, I can understand. |

05/18/2010 12:05 amI have driven by the Sweet Basil Cafe numerous times and never stopped so a friend of mine and I decided we should try it for lunch and so glad we did! I had the Piper Club (Ordered 1/2 Sandwich and it was very big.) and my friend ordered the Chicken Pecan Salad Sandwich (whole one) which was huge! Both were excellent but I must say I favor the Chicken Pecan Salad! The homemade bread was so soft and flavorful! We shared a chocolate dessert that had huge blackberries on top that just melted in our mouth! The service was great! |

03/24/2008 12:07 amGreat food, affordable prices, plenty of parking spots. It is a great place for lunch, always busy though. I get food to go so that I can tease my entire office with a nice meal. They also make great cookies, cakes, and candy. Two thumbs up, five stars! |
