Sweet Tomatoes, Orlando, Florida Restaurant Details

Food:

Sweet Tomatoes is a solid restaurant and one of the places I almost always stop by when I visit Florida. I went on a Monday afternoon and it was somewhat empty. The premade salads looked a little sad like they had been sitting out for a while but everything was well stocked. I grabbed some chili after the salad which is always good and hearty. I generally pass by the potato bar and add some cheese and onions to it. I feel like they used to have a focaccia with no cheese on it but I didn't see any, the bbq chicken focaccia looked better than it tasted. The dessert is always my favorite part, they have everything to make yourself a little ice cream sundae. The restaurant was very clean and the employees were friendly. If you want to feel disgusted with yourself there's some cheap Chinese buffets nearby but I personally enjoy Sweet Tomatoes more. The food is good quality and the price is reasonable at ~$10.

Wonderful choices of salad, soup, bread, potatoes and desert. Friendly staff and even came around and handed out chocolate chip cookies! Much better quality than other buffet places. Will come again!

Hard to give this place a fare review since a bus load of about 150 kids pulled in right behind us. Having said that, I love soup and salad places. This one didn't disappoint. Salad was fresh with a good selection. Soups tasted ok, but could only a few to choose from. Hopefully make it back when it's not so crowded for a better review.

If you're not familiar with this restaurant, you enter it and you fill up only one dish per person with all the salad that you want. Then you pay and then you go sit. Inside, there are drinks, some deserts, pizza, pasta, soups, and sauces. It's not expensive at all and the food is really good. Now how healthy you wanna make it, it's up to you.

This Sweet Tomatoes is one of the busier locations in the area probably due to the tourists from Disney. That being said, it is to the benefit of all dining here because the turnover rate is so high; making the salad bar very fresh and the soup and hot foods piping hot. Like all Sweet Tomatoes and Souplantation locations they have your usual mixed salads as well as build your own salad toppings. Soups, muffins/breads, and pizza make up the rest. And not to forget the small assortment of deserts and soft serve. Make sure to bring a coupon to cut the costs.
