This place has gone downhill fast in the past few years. While they have tried to revamp their image through some, and I mean SOME, aesthetic changes, it's clear they put no money into better training their staff.

It's impossible to know if the food you got last week will taste the same this week. I used to have a favorite salad there, however, because the last 3 times I have eaten there it has tasted different, I don't bother anymore.

In regards to the staff, the cashiers always appear annoyed that you are asking them to do their jobs, and the only polite staff you will run into are the people who clear your table of used plates. Keep mind that these people expect a tip.

Today was particularly irritating as the staff seemed annoyed with everyone (excluding out busser of course). While attempting to look at soups a very rude employee stepped in front of me to wipe down the counter and pots without so much as a excuse me.

I've tried time and time again to give this place a second chance, however, I can safely say today was the last time I will eat at sweet tomatoes.

It's been years since I've been to a Sweet Tomatoes location, so I thought I'd check it out again. I quite fancied some of the tuna tarragon, but I figured I'd better do some research to see what the prices were. Oddly, I can't find any prices anywhere on their Internet presence, so I figured I'd better call. Upon calling the number provided, I discover that it's no longer in service.

What gives, Sweet Tomatoes? You used to be cool.

Have been there many times and enjoy it. Today, however, house ranch dressing seemed thin when I poured it on my salad. Sure enough when I got to the table and mixed it up it disappeared. I could taste nothing. I ate only a few bites. We also never saw a server this time. We were at the Broadway and Wilmot location in Tucson. We were there at 1:15 till 1:50. We sat by the wall, 2nd table in from the side exit, near the register, east side of restaurant. Really love the salads but if this is a permanent change in the dressings it would be a shame. Watering down to save money? I hope not.

Sweet Tomatoes salad bar buffet seemed like such a great idea. We have been trying to locate an inexpensive salad bar style meal since we moved to the area but so far it doesn't exist. Tried this and it was overpriced for what we got. We do NOT want all you can eat bakery, pasta, and pizza. We wanted a nice salad with a bit of protein to make a satisfying lunch. Why is there not even a bit of grilled chicken to put on the salad? Totally disappointing. 2 stars for friendly service. (and free cookies which is the last thing we wanted unfortunately.)

This place was actually surprisingly good considering the sound of healthy food turns me away. I decided to give it a shot and I'm so glad I did. They do have something for everyone because of the variety of salad, soups, and pasta they had. They still have ice cream as well. I recommend it to other over and over.
