Extremely disappointing to hear of the closing of Schezwan Pavillion due to higher leasing. This restaurant has been an established property with amazing service, and food you can guarantee to be affordable and good. It appears Casa Linda Plaza is geared towards chain names now, but, they will be missed in the Casa Linda Plaza.

Oh man! I'm not usually a huge fan of buffets but this place was awesome!! Everything was made from good quality ingredients, you could tell! Large pieces of chicken, tender beef, not chewy pieces. Everything I tried was amazing! Def going back!

I have been going to this restaurant for 10+ years. I love the buffet especially. The egg drop soup is wonderful. Its always very homey feeling. I like that they play soft oriental music often. Staff is friendly. On holidays the owner herself comes in to sing Chinese and Taiwanese opera.

I have been going to this restaurant on and off since I moved to the neighborhood. Today, they switched my order, shrimp instead of chicken, and when I brought it back, they regretfully did not prepare it appropriately. It was the chicken with hot jalapenos. Usually, the order has a little gravy and lots of veggies. Well, I guess because this time it was a replacement and it had to go fast, forgo the carrot. It also had absolutely no liquid to it all, so fried chicken with jalapenos and peppers and rice, completely dry. Needless to say, most of it went into the garbage. Also, to use a big amount of black pepper for heat was also very unusual for this dish which I had many times before. Sorry to say is that I will not be coming back, because particularly at a time, where PeiWei just opened across the street, it is not good to replace a mixed-up order with an order that is not prepared to their usual standards.

The Szechwan Pavilion is an excellent Chinese buffet. In my opinion it's THE best Chinese buffet in Dallas by far. I've been going there for over 20 years now and it's always been great. I take the family to the buffet regularly and the food is always very good and fresh and moderately priced and the staff is always friendly. I could not recommend more. I have never had a bad experience there. EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCELLENT!!!
