At 5:57 they refused to take my order for an AM Crunchwrap because they don't serve breakfast until 6:00! Seriously?!?!?! When you drive up, instead of asking "may I help you," they ask: "how are you?"...as if they really want to know.

Bad attitude. The girl that took my order obviously didn't want to be there and it showed. Will not go back there again!

It is what it is. Don't compare them to an authentic Mexican restaurant, because they aren't, and neither are the staff. They give you what you order, which is good. Food is horribly unhealthy, but that's expected.

Imagine a world where you took the staff of Oscars Very Mexican Food, Baldo's, and any other grade A, authentic Mexican restaurant... then you threw them all in one Taco Bell and said "do it big for me".

I just experienced this last night, and ladies & gentlemen... it blew my mind. (to say the very least)

I'm sure that by now, we all know what an XXL CHALUPA is. (yes, the caps lock was completely necessary) Well. as it stands, this might be the most unhealthy... heart stopping... disgusting... deliciously beautiful thing that man has come up with.[since KFC's double down] soooo...

I ordered two.

But then i realized how terrible that was, changed my mind and just got one... until i realized how stupid THAT was, changed my mind again and just ordered one... WITH DOUBLE EVERYTHING.

For some reason, the woman taking the order seemed shocked when she heard this. but she was willing to cooperate, so a BIG thank you to her.

[at the menu]

lady at the window (Heavy Mexican accent): ...would you like anything else sir?

me: yes... um... that order i just gave you... can i just get two of those please? (Alex wanted one too. Richard... made the mistake of passing this up)

her: ... oh... oookay. ..wiill that be all?

me: ... ....... ........mmm yes, that's it. Thank you very much.

yadayada, we get done placing the order, and the entire time before we get to the window, i can't help but think about the Mexican woman's voice. Her sexy, sexy voice. Not even sexy in a sexual way, sexy as in... "I'm gonna make you the best Mexican food ever" sexy. And i knew she would do just that. Then i remember, we are at a TACO BELL. Is this really about to happen??? Mexican hospitality and probable Mexican cooking experience... clashing with Taco Bell's resources??? This doesn't happen very often.

But this time it did.

We got to the window, and the Mexican woman laughed wholeheartedly as she extended the bag of food and said "haha, iss so heaavvy!" [i'm talkin HEAVY Mexican accent].

I mean, how do you respond in a situation like this?? I had to try really hard to stop myself from instantly replying with a stone-faced "I love you". (i tried... and i failed)

Hands-down the best Taco Bell experience ever. There really are no words to describe how satisfied i was with this CHALUPA. think about it. Authentic Mexican flavored Taco Bell XXL CHALUPA topped off with actual fresh mexican salsa.

YES.

looking back, when it was all said and done and the CHALUPA was devoured, i felt like i was about to have a stroke. And i'm proud to say, it hurt so, so good.
