I have been employed at a few different Taco John's. Next time, before you assume someone is taking their job too seriously..think first.
Knowing the training process, it is actually part of their job to come around and ask you if you would like a refill or come in to take your garbage.
I will admit, many TJ's I have been too don't do this, and the two I worked out..we chose not to because we knew people didn't like to be bothered when eating. Once in a while, while I was cleaning lobby, I would ask people who were simply sitting and talking..if I could take their tray and garbage.
Not asking is not bad service. I don't have any issues if a Fast Food worker does not come around and ask me. However, it's expected to me at a regular sit down restaurant.

You seem familiar....could you have possibly been the manager at that store at the time? If so, I know who you are and you have a tendency to jump the gun. I would know..you did it to me multiple times while I worked with you..
I'm not sure why you called Cheerleader crazy, because, she's not. She just didn't understand the methods and training process. Just because someone asked her if they could take her trash, does..by no means, mean that she wasn't going to throw it away herself. You jumped to the conclusion there and assumed.
